On Saturday, February 18th, members of the San Carlos Apache Tribe and allies marched to Oak Flat in the 3rd Annual March to Oak Flat, an event meant to bring attention to the fight to save Oak Flat, ancestral land long held sacred by the Apache people and now under threat of destruction by global mining giant Rio Tinto / Resolution Copper.
